EGI-ACE is a 30-month project coordinated by the EGI Foundation with a mission to empower researchers from all disciplines to collaborate in data- and compute-intensive research through free-at-point-of-use services. EGI-ACE has now opened a call for use cases! With this call, the project offers access to infrastructure and platform services, dedicated user support and training. The services are sponsored by the European Commission and various national funding agencies and are free to access to the selected use cases.

HealthyCloud will define the strategic Agenda for the European health research and innovation cloud. It will pave the way for an effective health-related data sharing across Europe. HealthyCloud (Health Research & Innovation Cloud) is funded by the European Commission with a budget of €3 million and is active from 1 March 2021 to 31 August 2023.

Since the project was launched in November, a lot of work has been done and many events have taken place or are in preparation.

Sciensano is looking for a Jr. Researcher to strengthen the EU Health Information System Unit. This research team participates in European projects in health information, and specifically you will work on the Joint Action on the European Health Data Space (TEHDAS) and HealthyCloud – Health Research & Innovation Cloud; both projects are contributing to the setup of the European Health Data space. The Joint Action on Health Information InfAct (Information for Action!) is a 36 months project funded by the European Commission. It builds on the BRIDGE Health project and other initiatives in health information. The project was launched in March 2018. It includes 40 partners in 28 EU and associated countries.
